Creativity for a Cause was originally created to raise funds
for a team of 3-Day walkers. Known for their classes, the
Mill Race Village artisan shop owners realized that an
event highlighting arts, crafts, and creative workshops was
a natural fit for their community. When the invitation was
extended to several of the "uptown" Mt. Holly, New Jersey
merchants, they excitedly joined the lineup. As the ideas
started pouring in, it was quickly realized that this was an
opportunity unique to the Village and Mt. Holly and should
be held again and again.
The two events held in 2009 were highly successful and
the participants had a blast! Over $8000 was raised for
the charities represented - not too shabby for a new
endeavor!
The organizers expect Creativity for a Cause to continue to
grow! Many thanks go out to the workshop sponsors,
participants, charities, and business owners who have
supported this monumental undertaking.
